Blood Tribe Police are seeking witnesses in connection with an incident where multiple pedestrians were struck by a vehicle and seriously injured.

Blood Tribe Police are seeking witnesses in connection with an incident where multiple pedestrians were struck by a vehicle and seriously injured.
On October 10, 2025, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Blood Tribe Police Service and EMS responded to a 911 call reporting that a vehicle had struck multiple pedestrians near the Trading Post in Standoff, just off highway 2. The driver fled the area prior to police arrival.
A 15-year-old female sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary via S.T.A.R.S. helicopter. A 19-year-old female sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital in stable condition.
A short time later police located the vehicle in Standoff Townsite, where the driver was arrested without incident.The subject vehicle is described as a white 2015 Ford Explorer.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. Police are also seeking cell phone, doorbell cam, or dash cam footage of the incident.
