The identity of human remains found by police, confirmed. 

At 4:30pm on October 30th,2020, Blood Tribe Police Service were notified by a member of the public that the truck last known to be operated by Jason Many Fingers, was located near Spring Glen Park, near Glenwood Alberta. 
Police attended and found the truck last known to be operated by Jason Many Fingers, unoccupied near Spring Glen Park, Alberta. Jason had been missing since September 20, 2020 and was last seen fueling his father's truck at Fas Gas in Pincher Creek, Alberta.
RCMP K9 assisted and after a search of the area, unidentifiable human remains were located. 
Today, November 3, 2020 the deceased has been identified as Jason Many Fingers. Jason's death is not considered suspicious and police will not be commenting further on the matter. Thank you.

At 4:30pm on October 30th,2020, Blood Tribe Police Service were notified by a member of the public that the truck last known to be operated by Jason Many Fingers, was located near Spring Glen Park, near Spring Glen Alberta. 
Police attended and found the truck last known to be operated by Jason Many Fingers, unoccupied near Spring Glen Park, Alberta. RCMP K9 assisted and after a search of the area, unidentifiable human remains were located. 
An autopsy is scheduled for early next week in Calgary, Alberta and the investigation is on-going.

**UPDATE** Blood Tribe Police Service and the family of Jason Many Fingers, need the public's help.

On October 1, 2020, 46 year old Jason Many Fingers was reported missing by his family, they advised that there had not been any communication with him since September 20, 2020. Utilizing the Missing Person's Act, we have discovered there has not been any cell phone or banking activity since September 20, 2020. It was on this date at 3:45PM that Jason was recorded on video surveillance, fueling his father's truck at the Fas Gas in Pincher Creek, Alberta. Jason was last seen wearing black sweatpants, grey shirt, dark grey hooded zip-up, black and white runners and a dark colored baseball hat. He is 6’0 feet tall and 175lbs. Jason was driving his father’s 2005 GMC Sierra extended cab truck, white in color. AB plate: CFN-2131.The truck has black plastic coverings over the wheel wells.
We need the public's assistance with locating Jason Many Fingers. We are asking residents and businesses in Pincher Creek, Alberta to advise police if they have information, or are in possession of any video surveillance from the afternoon of September 20, 2020, that may assist us with determining a direction of travel.

You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers, and if you provide information that leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward.

**UPDATE** Blood Tribe Police Service is requesting assistance with in locating 46 year old Jason MANY FINGERS. 

Jason was last seen was on September 20, 2020 fueling up his white 2005 GMC Sierra, AB plate CFN 2131, at the Fas Gas in Pincher Creek AB.
There has been no activity on his cell phone and his safety is of concern. Jason MANY FINGERS is approximately 6’0 feet tall and 175lbs, he is normally wearing dark sweatpants, a grey hoodie and a hat.

*** UPDATE*** Mya EAGLE CHILD, who was previously reported missing, has been found safe. Thanks go out to the public for all their assistance. *** On February 13, 2024, the family of Mya EAGLE CHILD called the Blood Tribe Police Service to report her missing. Mya, 24, from Standoff, AB, last spoke with her family on Thursday, February 8, 2024, by phone. Mya stated she was headed to Lethbridge. Mya was last seen wearing all black and is described as being 5'5" and 103 lbs, with a slim build, dark hair, and brown eyes. At this time police do not suspect foul play.
