NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM EXPERIENCED POLICE OFFICERS

Experienced Applicants
Experienced Applicants must:

Have a minimum of 2 years of policing experience.
Be good standing with a police service whose training meets the standards of Blood Tribe Police Service.

Meet all minimum requirements:

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
Canadian citizen, landed immigrant status or permanent resident status.
At least 18 years of age.
Class 5 Driver's license (non GDL) with no more than five demerit points.
Meet medical/health and fitness standards.
No unpardoned criminal convictions.
No criminal charges pending before the courts.
No criminal activity within the last three years both detected and undetected.
Good financial credit standing.
Standard first aid & CPR "C" certificate
Experienced Applicants process:

Complete and submit a complete application and personal disclosure form, along with required attachments (as per the cover page of application)
One on One Screening Interview
Behavioural Descriptive Panel Interview
Polygraph Exam
Psychological Exam
Security Clearance Background Investigation
Selection Committee
Final Medical Exam
Please note that Experienced Applicants are exempt from some parts of the New Recruit Process, such as written and physical testing.

*** UPDATE*** Mya EAGLE CHILD, who was previously reported missing, has been found safe. Thanks go out to the public for all their assistance. *** On February 13, 2024, the family of Mya EAGLE CHILD called the Blood Tribe Police Service to report her missing. Mya, 24, from Standoff, AB, last spoke with her family on Thursday, February 8, 2024, by phone. Mya stated she was headed to Lethbridge. Mya was last seen wearing all black and is described as being 5'5" and 103 lbs, with a slim build, dark hair, and brown eyes. At this time police do not suspect foul play.
